Barque, 388 tons, built at Hamburg, Germany in 1841 by Johannes Marbs, and under the command of Captain P. Schacht on the voyage to Nelson. It was the first of two ships to bring German immigrants to Nelson, the other ship, a Danish built barque named SKIOLD arrived in 1844, under the command of Captain C. Claussen, and apart from the estimated tonnage of 500 tons little is known about the ship.
