

Tasman Bays Heritage Trust was established as a non-profit charitable trust in 2000 and is registered with the NZ Charities Commission. As a council-controlled organisation [CCO] the trust is held responsible for the governance, management and operation of the regional collection, assets, facilities and services of the Nelson Provincial Museum Pupuri Taonga O Te Tai Ao, on behalf of the Nelson City Council and Tasman District Council and in consultation with our Tangata Whenua. The Trustees fulfill a duty of care as kaitiaki of the Nelson Provincial Museum.
